Carrie Charleston

In her strategic leadership role as Vice President of Leasing for Mall of America®, Charleston is a key member of the leasing team responsible for tenant strategy at the nation’s largest retail and entertainment complex. In a building boasting more than 5.6 million square feet, the team balances a dynamic leasing mix of fashion, food and entertainment tenants, leasing more than 400,000 square feet each year and introducing over 150 first-to-market concepts.

Charleston brings a strong passion and professional focus on retail and restaurants to the organization. Most recently she completed leases at Mall of America including a flagship 26,000 square foot M&M’s store one of only 7 in the world, a world-class Canada Goose location featuring a cold room experience, Watches of Switzerland a luxury watch boutique, Psycho Bunny, Warby Parker, and B&B Theaters, the country’s largest privately owned Theater Group.

Prior to Mall of America, Charleston worked with Mid-America Real Estate and focused on a landlord portfolio of more than two million square feet. Her history of brokering restaurant deals includes Gavin Kaysen’s Spoon & Stable, Smack Shack, Kona Grill, Cara Irish Pubs, Sun Street Breads, and many others.
