Jan M Kroells

As Vice President of Marketing for the Bloomington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Jan leverages extensive experience of nearly 30 years in the travel and tourism industry. She has been instrumental in the Bloomington CVB’s growth as a premier destination marketing organization. Jan leads marketing for Bloomington showcasing the city as a popular visitor destination, which has seen tremendous growth with one of the nation's largest attractions, Mall of America. She spearheads strategy and implementation of the Bloomington CVB’s leisure and digital marketing efforts, media relations, analytics and research, and unique activations/events which includes the successful Bloomington Diamond Service Awards Program. She currently serves on the Minnesota Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Board of Directors, Mall of America Communication Foundation, Big Ten LOC, and recently University of Minnesota Tourism Center Board and EXPO 2027 World’s Fair initiatives. Jan remains active in Destinations International, U.S. Travel Association, Brand USA, Explore Minnesota Tourism, American Society of Association Executives, and Normandale Community College Foundation. When not promoting Bloomington and Minnesota, Jan loves to spend time with family and friends, travel, bike and participate in several special organizations.
