April is Earth Month, and Mall of America celebrates with sustainability initiatives and unique traditions that bring nature indoors.
In this episode, we’re joined by Maggie Boedigheimer, Strategic Project Specialist and Earth Month project manager, along with interior landscapers Tyler Stoehr-Good and James Everhart. Together, they share how thousands of plants are cared for throughout the Mall and why the annual tradition of releasing ladybugs into the plants inside Nickelodeon Universe plays an important role in sustainable plant care.
We also explore Earth Month events, guided Earth Day Plant Tours, and the behind-the-scenes work that helps maintain one of the largest indoor landscaped environments in the country.
